Football Youth Development Program

Naifaru Juvenile hosts a Football development programme for youth. The opening ceremony was held by guest-speaker, Mr. Hassan Latheef, Minister of Human Resources, Youth and Sports. The programme is scheduled to run for six months and the goal is to see the participation of more than one hundred children and youth. New Aerobics Centre completed

Naifaru Juvenile starts conducting aerobics classes for our community’s women in our new aerobics centre. The goal of this aerobics centre is to improve the health and fitness of our community’s women. The start-up of this project has been done with help from dedicated volunteers. The centre is set up in our old fire-building and will offer employment for one person to conduct daily training sessions.

Quantity Surveying training programme has started

35 local community members sign up for a quantity surveying programme in Naifaru. The programme was launched by Naifaru Juvenile and TVET in association with the Ministry of Human Resources, Youth and Sports. TVET is a ministry-run organization. Environmental Cleaning Program

Three beach cleaning events conducted by Naifaru Juvenile in collaboration with other NGOs from the island. The purpose of these events was to clean the beaches – a big issue on Naifaru Island where people frequently dispose of their rubbish on the beach. Debris from the ocean also contributes to the build-up of rubbish. The NGO participants and several community members attended the events.

Naifaru Juvenile has held an Islamic Awareness Programme for the people of Naifaru on Friday 23rd april 2010 at 21:00 pm at open ground near Lh. Atoll office. A Ukraine Doctor has Arrived Naifaru

A Ukrainian volunteer doctor arrives at the Lhaviyani Atoll Hospital through Naifaru Juvenile and Mission Maldives. Dr. Lida Kotok will start work as a volunteer at the hospital on the 27th of March and will serve our community for a duration of three months.
