Juvenile trip to Sri Lanka for leadership workshop at PDI-SL
One component of the Youth Mentorship and Leadership program involved the opportunity for Juvenile staff to undertake international leadership training, and Mohamed Ahmed, Abdulla Samir, and Nasha Abdulla were chosen to attend a weeklong workshop in Sri Lanka from 25th-29th. Read more“Explore the Possibilities” Youth Conference held for Lh. Atoll NGO network representatives
The purpose of this conference was to gather young NGO volunteers from Lhaviyani Atoll to discuss the importance of good governance, women's empowerment, gender equality and community development, and ultimately to educate these young Maldivian citizens on the international political landscape, and how they fit into it locally. The conference was held in the afternoon and evening of the 13th of April 2013 in the Lh. Naifaru multi-purpose building.

As part of Naifaru Juvenile's Youth Mentorship and Leadership Programme, a project implemented under UNDP Maldives Small Grants Facility (SGF), the Leadership camp was developed with the aim of teaching these young leaders the necessary skills to be able to implement their own projects on their home islands.
