We are one of our community’s oldest and most active NGOs and we work to create a stronger community through projects that involve or affect all the people of our island.
Naifaru Juvenile organize the island’s youth into assisting with the construction of our new sea wall for our Harbour. Our old sea wall, which was made out of corals, was falling apart and a new wall was desperately needed. There were already several adults signed up for participation. Read moreThe Maldivian independence Day is celebrated by bringing in famous bands from Male’ to join the local celebrations at Naifaru. Naifaru Juvenile assisted in setting up a stage at the Nooraanee Preschool open area for the bands. The celebrations continued for three nights.
Read moreWe have concluded a one-month course in cake decoration. The goal of the course was to give local women skills in cake decoration to help them set up small home-based businesses and generate extra income for their households. In total 30 local women finished the course.
