The training program was held on Tuesday 8th January 2013 from 3.45pm to 7.30pm. The training program was held in the Multi Purpose Building (MPB) for the staff that will be working in our soon to be opened ‘drop in centre’. 20 participants including staff attended .The training program was facilitated by Journey NGO.

The ‘drop in centre’ will be used for drug awareness, outreach work, counseling and life skill programs. In the training program it was explained to the staff how to run a ‘drop in centre’ and what it entails. The services available at the drop in centre and how to ensure the work is carried out.

The training program also discussed about ‘outreach’: what is the ‘outreach’ program and how to conduct an ‘outreach’ program and its benefits.
