We are one of our community’s oldest and most active NGOs and we work to create a stronger community through projects that involve or affect all the people of our island.
A lecture of reproducion and contraception is held for young women at the local community school, Madhrasathul Ifthitaah. The lecture was held by three medical students from the UK, Hajra, vaishali, and Sophia. The lecture was held in the afternoon and was conducted as part of Naifaru Juvenile’s ongoing project, Reproductive Health Awareness and Family Planning Advice for Youth and Women, which is funded by the United Nations through UNFPA. The material discussed in the lecture was carefully planned by the three lecturers, the school & parents, the local hospital, and Naifaru Juvenile.
The three medical students are volunteering at the local hospital through Atoll Volunteers, which is a branch of Naifaru Juvenile. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work.
