Prize Day at Madhurasathul Ifthithaah

This weekend Naifaru Juvenile helped the local school, Madhurasathul Ifthithaah, to conduct Price Day, an event where the top students of the schools were celebrated with prices in different categories.

The event was a big success and we at Naifaru Juvenile sponsored the prizes to students, decorations, sound system, photography and refreshments.

The event had the two students, Aishath Fareeha Abdulla (12B) and Fathimath Aroofa (10S1) act as hostesses for the evening, presenting the program, speakers and prices in both Dhivehi and English.

During the event, we had notable persons from the community, Naifaru Juvenile and the school address the guest with individual speeches ending the whole session with a speech by our honoured Deputy Minister of Education Mr. Ibrahim Ismail.

Prizes were given out to 169 students from grade 6 to 12 that had excelled in different categories: General Proficiency, Class Prize, Class Progress Price, Subject Price, Honour-Listed Award, Discipline Award, prices for Co-Curricular and Extracurricular Activities, Best Ten Students at School Level, Special Price awarded to 10 students who passed all the curriculum subject at GCE O/L and SSC exams, Best Ten Results at National Level, Distinctions at GCE O/L and SSC Exams.

Furthermore awards were given to the houses of the school for Best House in Studies, Best House in Sports, Best All Round House.

Lastly, a special award was given to the Best All Round Student: Mariyam Aalaau Mahmood, who also received a Special Prize from the President of Maldives, Special Prize from the Ministry of Education, Special Prize from Naifaru Juvenile, Special Prize and Cash Prize from the P.T.A. and a Special Prize from Mr. Mohamed Ismail Fulhu.

Madhurasathul Ifthithaah can also proudly present a number of national top achievers in secondary completion exams: four students as National Top Ten Achievers (SSC, IGCSE and GCE 0’ Level Exam 2012), three students as National Top Ten (Edexcel ‘A’ Level and HSC Exams (May/June 2013)) and three students with Distinctions at GCE A/L and HSC Exams (May/June 2013).

Naifaru Juvenile is very proud on behalf of the results Madhurasathul Ifthithaah and its students have achieved this academic year and congratulate them all for the fruit of their efforts. A special congratulation goes to Ms. Mariyam Aalaau Mahmood for her amazing results; her efforts must be inspiring to her fellow students.
