Career guidance sessions at the local community school held by a Male’-based facilitator, Mr. Saneel Mohamed (Sannu), have just been concluded. The sessions were arranged by Naifaru Juvenile and the National Career Guidance Centre, Male’.

There were a total of six sessions. Three sessions were for school students from grades 9, 11, and 12. There were two sessions for unemployed school leavers and one for the parents of the island.

The aim of the career guidance sessions was to equip the island’s youth to life after school, in terms of how best to utilize their professional potential.

The sessions took place during a week and Sannu was warmly welcomed by Naifaru Juvenile members who also saw to his accommodation.

We hope to work closely with the National Career Guidance Centre in the future.
