Out of Sight, Not Out of Mind – Turtle Conservation Fundraiser

On the 19th of July our brilliant volunteer Asher Nowlan ran a quiz evening in Australia in aid of sea turtle conservation and our work here on Naifaru. Gender equality and women’s human rights training workshop

CANCER AWARENESS SESSION

An awareness session on cancer was run by Naifaru Juvenile under the SHE core plus initiative project in cooperation with the Society for Cancer on 10th December 2013 at Lh. Empowering women to participate in elections workshop

On the 28th and 29th of November 2013, Naifaru Juvenile conducted two women’s capacity workshops under the True the Vote project on Naifaru and Olhuvelifushi, respectively. Prize Day at Madhurasathul Ifthithaah

This weekend Naifaru Juvenile helped the local school, Madhurasathul Ifthithaah, to conduct Price Day, an event where the top students of the schools were celebrated with prices in different categories. Naifaru Juvenile to sponsor Prize Day at Madhurasathul Ifthithaah

Naifaru Juvenile is sponsoring approximately MVR 55,000 to the Prize Day at Madhurasathul Ifthithaah. We sponsor all expenses like the prizes that are to be given to students, decorations, sound system, photography, refreshments. Madhurasathul Ifthithaah agreed to use our logo in all materials related to the Prize Day, and we have signed an MOU with the school, hopefully improving our relationship with the local school and community even further.
